How It Works

Wav records lossless mic audio while you talk with friends in voice rooms. Recording starts automatically when you join.

Quick start

  1. Go to the Studio and sign in.
  2. Complete onboarding (name, username, languages).
  3. Create or join a voice room.
  4. Recording starts automatically when 2+ people are in the room.
  5. When finished, leave the room to finalize the session.

Recording quality

Recording is mic-only and stored losslessly. Voice calls are optimized for low latency and are separate from the recording.

Language

English is currently supported. More languages are coming.

Compensation

Earnings are based on speaking time. See Compensation for rates and payout details.

Consent

Make sure everyone in your room is aware recording is active. If you are unsure, stop the recording.
